An exhibition about the construction of a single building on East 42nd Street next to Grand Central Station in New York City.

Gwyneth Leech makes paintings of super-tall and iconic building construction projects around Manhattan, working in series that can span months or years. She became fascinated with the construction of One Vanderbilt (OVA) in 2017 as the structural steel began rising above ground level. This exhibition of nineteen paintings, done from a variety of sidewalk locations in East Midtown over the last three years, marks the completion of the tower in Fall 2020.
